Our Bluetooth-based positioning technology makes use of small Bluetooth emitter devices called Beacons. Therefore, beacons should be placed in the venue. Our Beacon-based positioning technology works with both Android and iOS devices.
We provide our positioning technology in the form of SDK (Software Development Kit) for both Android and iOS platforms. This way any venue owner or app developer can easily integrate our services into their mobile applications.
Our SDK includes indoor positioning, navigation and indoor map modules. Venue owners can easily customize the visual elements of the map module to meet their design requirements.
Making indoor positioning work is relatively easier in venues with few open spaces and low ceilings where beacons are close to visitors. However, in venues with high ceilings and lots of open spaces, achieving 2-meter positioning accuracy becomes a challenge. Our technology is successfully tested in the most complex venue architecture with 20-meter high ceilings and 120.000 meter square open spaces.
Too many beacons means waste of time and resources for future beacon maintenance. Needless to mention, having too many beacons on the ceilings would also disrupt the interior decoration of the venue.
We care deeply about minimizing the number of beacons used for the positioning technology. We put a lot of effort in optimizing the minimum number of beacons needed for positioning. As a result, we use 6 times less beacons than our main competitor to reach the same level of accuracy.
Our technology is independent of the beacon hardware used in the venue. If you already have beacons installed in your venue, you can just use your existing beacons along with our SDK.
